ShopSynq collects what's needed to run the platform. We do not sell personal information. For shop account data, we're the controller. For Vehicle Owner data a shop uploads, the shop is the controller and we're only the processor. You can export all your data as a ZIP at any time.
This policy applies to the ShopSynq AI Platform at shopsynq.ai, published by ShopSynq AI LLC, a wholly-owned subsidiary of KD Supply, Limited (Cardington, Ohio). It covers data about auto-repair shops and their staff, and Vehicle Owners whose information shops enter into the Platform.
Business / Controller. For shop account information, billing data, and operational data, ShopSynq acts as the business/controller.
Service Provider / Processor. For Vehicle Owner data that a shop uploads, the shop is the controller and ShopSynq is the service provider/processor. Vehicle Owners who want to exercise privacy rights should contact the shop directly.
Business name, address, owner/staff names, email addresses, phone numbers, login credentials, and billing details.
Repair orders, estimates, scheduling, inventory, service history, and similar records you create in the Platform.
Vehicle owner names, contact details, vehicle identifiers (VIN, make, model, plate), and service records that the shop enters.
IP address, device and browser type, log data, and product-usage analytics collected automatically.
Stripe collects and processes payment-card information. ShopSynq does not store full card numbers.
We use necessary cookies to operate the Platform and may use limited analytics cookies.
We share personal information only with service providers/subprocessors under contracts limiting their use; for legal and safety disclosures required by law; and in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets. We do not sell personal information and do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.
We retain Customer Data for as long as your account is active and for a reasonable period afterward. You may export a full ZIP at any time. After 30 days following account closure, we may delete or de-identify the data.
We use access controls, encryption in transit and at rest, and tenant isolation. No system is perfectly secure.
California residents may know, access, delete, correct, and opt out of any sale or sharing of their personal information (we do not sell or share). Contact: privacy@shopsynq.ai

The Platform is a business tool not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16.
We operate in the United States. If you access the Platform from outside the U.S., your data will be transferred to and processed in the U.S.
If a breach of security occurs, we will notify affected shops and, where required, individuals and regulators, consistent with applicable law.
We may update this policy and will post the new version with an updated effective date. Material changes will be communicated through the Platform or by email.
